About Ali Juma
I work at the intersection of change, behaviour, and AI adoption.
My focus is not on introducing technology.
It is on how work actually changes.
Over time, I have come to see that adoption is rarely a communication problem or a training problem.
It is a work design problem.
People do not resist change.
They respond to the conditions around them. When those conditions are clear, adoption follows.
When they are not, it stalls.
My work has taken me across leadership, operations, and change, supporting organisations through complex transitions.
Today, I focus on helping teams move beyond rollout and into real, sustained adoption of AI in everyday work.
I tend to work inside the problem rather than around it. That means understanding how work actually happens, where friction sits, and how behaviour is shaped in real environments.
From there, the focus is simple.
Make the new way of working easier, clearer, and more natural than the old.
This site brings together my work, thinking, and ongoing reflections.
